The North Wales Open is being held on 15th & 16th August at Bryn Derwen Farm ,Abermule , by kind permission of Irene & Tom Hamer (mother & son).
The local secretary is Alan Humphreys ,3 Tanllyn ,Carno ,Powys. SY17 5LH. And the local President is Gareth Vaughan , Dolfor – past President of the Farmers’ Union of Wales .
We’re proud to be the main sponsor again this year and several local firms and companies are sponsoring the show too
There will be qualifying heats on the Friday with Doubles at lunch time and a further qualifying heat on Saturday morning with a Young Handler class at lunch time , followed by a Double Gather Final.
Judges for the singles and double gather are:
- Brian Pugh, Nantmel , Llandrindod Wells
- Dai Price, Cemmaes , Machynleth
The Young Handler and Doubles will be judged by Henry Hughes , Llwydiarth.
