The Pennine Training Area held their 2nd working test of the season on Sunday 2nd of April, at The Hoghton Woodfold Shoot. This was for Open dogs and consisted of 8 very challenging tests over varied terrain – woodland, cover crops, meadow and a river. The four judges each saw 37 dogs in the morning, and the same dogs again in the afternoon with marks out of 20 judged on style, drive, handleability, a work like manner and delivery of the dummies to hand. This event was very kindly sponsored by CSJ Specialist Canine Feeds and AK Gundog Accessories. A fabulous day was had by all.
